Eligibility

Welcome!  You are eligible to enroll in our amazing benefit plans if you are scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week as a regular full-time or part-time employee.  Seasonal or temporary employees, unfortunately, you’re not in the eligibility mix, but we have tons of wellbeing perks that you may take advantage of.

To modify your benefits while already enrolled, a qualified life event is required.  Please contact a member of the HR Team. 

Effective Dates

Important – Benefits enrollment, or changes to existing elections, may only be made within 30 days of your eligibility period.  If elections are not made within the required timeframe, your next opportunity to enroll or change benefits is the following open enrollment period in October. 

Benefits become effective on the first day of the month following date of hire for new hires or qualified life event status changes; newborn coverage commences immediately upon birth. 

The benefit plan year is January 1 through December 31.

Dependent Eligibility

Eligible dependents may enroll in coverage, if they meet the following criteria:

  • Your legal spouse, registered domestic partner or domestic partner with whom you’ve lived for at least six months
  • Children under the age of 26, regardless of student, dependency or marital status
  • Children who are past the age of 26 and are fully dependent on you for support due to a certified mental or physical disability

Interns & Temporary Employees

If you are an intern or a temporary employee, you may be eligible to participate in our 401(K) plan upon reaching your 6 month anniversary.  Eligibility to enroll in the 401(K) plan begins the first of the month following your 6 month anniversary date. 

Once you are Enrolled

Once you’ve made your benefit choices official, you’ll receive a confirmation detailing your selected benefits and their bi-weekly costs (premiums). These premiums will be deducted from your paycheck on the pay date that includes the effective date. Keep an eye on your mailbox at home for your welcome information and ID cards, typically arriving within 2 to 4 weeks.
